TREK - 12 May - Il Sengio Alto
Length 11km - elevation gain +700m - Medium High difficulty.
Special Gathering of the Alpini in Vicenza. In what was once the First line and today is still the border between Vicenza and Trento, we will climb the fortification paths of Sengio Alto. The view over the 52 Tunnels of Pasubio and the Carega on the other side. An unforgettable and technical high mountain outing.
What to expect:
The nature of the route has characteristics that may become an impediment for those who suffer from vertigo. Some difficult ascents and descents require a steady leg.
The duration of the excursion is about 7 hours.
The route is suitable for everyone with a minimum of walking training.
Minors allowed if accompanied and aged 12 or older.
Dogs allowed only on a leash and with prior notice to the guide.
Mandatory equipment:
- trekking shoes or boots
- technical backpack with adequate capacity
- rain jacket
- windbreaker
- 1.5L or more depending on your hydration needs for thirst-quenching liquids
- snacks and packed lunch as there are no support points along the trail.
- layered clothing suitable for the season
- sunglasses
Trekking poles recommended if you are used to using them.
AMM Guide accompaniment fee Veneto Alpine Guides college 25 euros.
Minors 10 euros.
Friends of the Alpini or ANA members 20 euros.
Participants: Minimum 4 - Maximum 12
A 50% deposit is required in advance to confirm your booking. Payment method: Paypal, Satispay or bank transfer.
Full payment the morning before the excursion.
The excursion is held in almost any weather.
The fee is fully refunded only in case of indisposition of the Guide or for environmental conditions that jeopardize the safety of the group.
