TREK - May 5th - L'Altar Knotto
Length 8km - elevation gain +400m - Medium difficulty.
From the village of Rotzo, famous for its potatoes, we will climb through the woods and pastures of the Plateau of the 7 Municipalities, which overlook the underlying Agno Valley. Unforgettable will be the photos near the famous altar and other natural sculptures.
We will not have difficult climbs nor equally steep and uneven descents.
The duration of the hike is about 6 hours.
The route is suitable for everyone with minimal training in walking.
Minors allowed if accompanied and aged 12 or older.
Dogs allowed only on a leash and with prior notice to the guide.
Mandatory equipment:
- trekking shoes or boots
- technical backpack with adequate capacity
- rain jacket
- windbreaker
- 1.5 liters or more depending on your hydration needs of refreshing liquids
- snacks and packed lunch as there are no support points along the trail.
- layered clothing suitable for the season
- sunglasses
Trekking poles if you are used to using them.
Guide fee for AMM Guide College of Alpine Guides of Veneto 25 euros.
Minors 10 euros.
Participants: Minimum 4 - Maximum 10
A 50% deposit is required in advance. Payment methods: Paypal, Satispay or bank transfer.
Full payment on the morning before the hike.
The hike is held in almost any weather.
The fee is fully refunded only in case of the guide's indisposition or environmental conditions that compromise the safety of the group.
